Key Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of HSBC Global Business Transformation Framework and act as its key guardian, ensuring it is followed by Programme/ Project teams.
  • Track, review, and control programme/project progress and performance at clearly defined points in the process, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence while anticipating potential risks and issues.
  • Work hand-in-hand with the Programme/Project Manager in defining required scope, quality, cost, and effort.
  • Ensure the effectiveness of the Programme/Project Management control framework through Initiation, Definition, and Execution phases.
  • Control closure activities, including post-project review and handover, benefits tracking, and Programme/Project quality assurance.
  • Actively manage programme/project resource management, assisting new team members in understanding project context and content, stakeholder management, and wider project goals.
Requirements
  • 5 years of experience, with at least 3 years in a programme/project management role on complex projects across countries or regions.
  • Understanding of the Programme and Project lifecycle, including working knowledge of Project Management methodologies, PMO processes, and best practice techniques.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively.
  • Experience in running meetings in English over video or teleconference.
  • PMP or MSP training or certification would be an advantage.
  • Experience in working with Jira, Confluence, and Clarity would be an asset.
