About Samsung Ads Team
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Architect to join our growing Samsung Ads team. As an Architect, you will be responsible for designing our ad-serving software, collaborating with key stakeholders, and driving the success of our advertising technology.
Samsung Ads is a highly successful and fast-growing business with a strong presence in multiple countries. Our team is dynamic and complex, operating across a broad spectrum of product and strategic domains.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement architecture for Samsung Ads platforms, including application architecture, API interfaces, microservices, backend data processing, and reporting.
- Lead a strong architecture team, curate and communicate key architecture pillars, and develop technical blueprints for Samsung Ads platforms.
- Analyze and critique architectures and designs, and provide consultancy and guidance to engineering teams.
- Research and evaluate best-of-breed technologies to inform architecture decisions, and maintain up-to-date architecture documentation and flows.
Requirements
- Overall 15 years of experience with 10 years of experience as a Principal, CTO, Architect or similar experience.
- Concurrently, or prior to your architecture experience, a minimum of 3 years working as a software engineer with expertise in at least 2 programming languages.
- Strong expertise across broad computer science fundamentals, including hardware, operating systems, software, data structures, and networking.
- Demonstrated experience leading teams, including growing teams, developing rising talent, and creating a supportive and exciting environment.
