About the Role

The Software License Manager will be responsible for monitoring and managing software licenses and their compliance across the organization, including SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft Azure, and other vendor license models.

Ongoing monitoring of licenses to ensure that the company remains compliant and in control of its assets.

Responsibilities

  • Licenses and Contracts Management

Manage software licenses and contracts, ensuring compliance across the organization, and optimizing our license portfolio to maximize cost efficiency.

Conduct audits and prepare reports on their results, negotiate contracts with software and IT service providers, and oversee contract execution and timely renewals.

  • Risk Management

Identify and manage risks related to IT licenses and contracts, implementing legal and technological risk management strategies to minimize exposure.

  • Collaboration

Work closely with technical teams to understand technology needs and optimize purchases, and coordinate with IT departments on software implementation and maintenance.

  • Reporting

Prepare regular analyses of license and service contract spend, and create detailed license and contract status reports for the company's management.

Requirements

  • Experience

At least 2-3 years of experience working as a software license specialist or similar role.

  • Skills

Proficiency in spoken and written English, good communication skills, and a strong understanding of software asset management principles.

  • Certifications

Certified SAM-related qualifications such as the Certificate in Software Asset Management are a plus.
