Role Overview

KRUK S.A is seeking an experienced IT Manager Chapter Lead to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading employees within one Chapter and fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead employees within one Chapter, promoting a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Act as the leader of expertise and competencies within the Chapter.
  • Develop optimal resource allocation strategies within Squads, in collaboration with Tribe Leaders and Product Owners, to build stable teams.
  • Create development plans for the entire Chapter and individual plans for all Chapter Members.
  • Provide regular feedback, coaching, and 1:1 development discussions with Chapter Members.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge regarding Agile and area of expertise using available resources.
  • Monitor standards, quality, and best practices implementation, ensuring transparency and alignment.
  • Ensure optimal staffing for the Chapter to support demand through recruiting.
  • Foster empowerment and ownership among Chapter Members.
  • Collaborate closely with Software Architects.
  • Adhere to Tribe and enterprise technical standards.
  • Support Product Owners in achieving product goals via technology.

Qualifications:

  • Professional experience in the IT field.
  • Experience in a managerial/leadership position in the IT field.
  • Ability to adjust priorities to dynamically changing business needs.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to build relationships within the team.
  • Proactive attitude, communicativeness, initiative, and independence in action.
  • Fluent English communication skills (minimum level B2/C1).
  • Leader of expertise and competencies of Chapter.
  • Able to increase own knowledge regarding Agile and area of expertise using available resources.
  • Fosters empowerment and ownership in Chapter Members.

Compensation Package: The estimated annual salary for this role is approximately 120,000 PLN, taking into account the cost of living in Krakow and the company's expectations.
