Financial Controller for International Accounting and Tax

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team at Ecolab. As a key member of our financial department, you will be responsible for managing the company's international accounting and tax functions.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with US-GAAP and Swiss statutory requirements.
  • Collaborate with GBS and other COE's and functions to support financial operations.
  • Manage coding, payments, reconciliations, and resolve issues related to accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Monitor and record recurring manual journal entries.
  • Act as liaison for internal and external audits.
  • Lead/Support financial projects and initiatives.
Taxes
  • Calculate and record income, capital, and deferred taxes on a quarterly basis.
  • Prepare and follow up on withholding tax reimbursement requests.
  • Timely and accurate preparation and submission of corporate Tax reports.
Treasury
  • Prepare monthly USD and GBP forecast for hedging purposes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 3-7 years' experience in international accounting, finance, and/or tax.
  • Solid analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to organize, work efficiently, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Excel and SAP.
  • Positive, open-minded, and proactive attitude.

Estimated Salary: €60,000 - €80,000 per year
