At Ecolab, we're seeking an experienced Financial Manager to join our team in a key role that requires expertise in international accounting and tax. This position is ideal for professionals who have a solid background in finance and are looking for a challenging opportunity to grow their career.

About the Role

This Senior Accountant position is based in Europe, where you'll be responsible for supporting the accuracy and timeliness of monthly, quarterly, and yearly accounts using SAP and reporting in accordance with US-GAAP and Swiss statutory requirements.

You'll work closely with Global Business Services (GBS) and other Centers of Excellence (COE's) as well as functions like Supply Chain and Human Resources to ensure seamless collaboration and efficient operations.

Your responsibilities will include coding, payments, reconciliations, resolving issues, monitoring recurring manual journal entries, and acting as a liaison for internal and external audits.

In addition, you'll lead or support financial projects, calculate and record income, capital, and deferred taxes on a quarterly basis, prepare and follow up on withholding tax reimbursement requests, and timely and accurately prepare and submit all corporate Tax reports.

What You Will Need

To succeed in this role, you'll need 3-7 years' experience in international accounting, finance, and/or tax, ideally with large multinational enterprises or 'big 4 audit' companies.

You'll also require solid analytical and communication skills, the ability to organize, work efficiently, and meet deadlines, as well as proficiency with Excel and SAP.

A positive, open-minded, and proactive attitude, along with good English written and verbal skills, and German skills would be an advantage.
