About the Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Account Manager to join our EMEA Megapack sales team. As a Senior Account Manager, you will lead the customer engagement, sales, and contracting efforts for our cutting-edge Megapack battery energy storage systems and industry-leading services.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of sales/account management experience in the utility-scale electric generation, transmission, or storage industry. They will have demonstrated expertise in structuring and leading complex negotiations in energy, construction, project finance, or a related field.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a project pipeline of opportunities spanning multiple countries, timelines, and project types.
  • Develop sales opportunities by building and maintaining relationships with Independent Power Producers (IPPs), developers, and utilities.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define scope, terms, and pricing for battery storage projects meeting customers' needs while protecting Tesla's interests.
  • Contribute to the strategy for and preparation of tender responses, in collaboration with Tesla's Bid Team.
  • Evaluate market dynamics and drivers. Provide key market insights to the broader Tesla team, determining and executing the most effective go-to-market strategies.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of sales/account management experience in the utility-scale electric generation, transmission, or storage industry.
  • Demonstrated expertise in structuring and leading complex negotiations in energy, construction, project finance, or a related field.
  • Ability to identify problems, lead projects, and provide pragmatic solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with colleagues and customers.
  • Flexibility to travel (up to 50%).
  • Fluency in English and Polish. German language skills are considered a plus.
