The Value Chain Team at Markem-Imaje is seeking a talented Supply Chain Analyst to join their international flow optimization efforts.

In this role, you will define the industrial strategy for your product line through value chain analyses, designing supply chain solutions, and implementing continuous improvement actions.

You will work closely with Industrialization Project Manager, Supply Chain Engineering Project Manager, Finance, Process Engineer, Master data specialists, Operations, Trade Compliance, to develop the industrial strategy.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Defining end-to-end supply chain solutions for your product line, based on Value Stream Mapping methodology, aiming to achieve the best balance between total cost, service level, and risk reduction.
  • Performing detailed Supply Chain analysis and on different industrials scenarios, scored on a comprehensive set of KPIs (service level, landed cost, working capital, industrial footprint, ).
  • Extracting, analyzing, and compiling data using SAP ERP and SAP BW;
  • Ensuring alignment with our global Supply chain development strategy.
  • Presenting options and recommendation to top management for validation.
  • Working with Finance, Operations, Sourcing, Process Engineering from the early phases of Industrial projects to define the cost structure, build the business cases and the NPV calculation.
  • Documenting, maintaining and updating Logistics Flows, in close link with master data, transport, and trade compliance.
  • Participating to projects related to Value Chain reengineering for current product lines (continuous improvement, support of company initiatives, external changes) and for New Product Introduction.

Requirements for the role include:

  • Degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Engineering, with specialization in Finance
  • 3 years of experience in Supply Chain Engineering or Value Stream Mapping
  • Ability to work within cross-functional projects and teams, both on-site and remotely
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Excel and calculations
  • Deep understanding of financial and business issues
  • Proficient in Excel and other office tools
  • Good knowledge of SAP is a must
  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools (BW, Power BI) is an advantage
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English (at least B2 level)
