We are seeking a talented Product Design Team Leader to join our dynamic team. As a key member, you will be responsible for guiding a small design team while being hands-on with design work.

Our ideal candidate has a strong background in both designing and leading a team, ideally in a small but high-performing environment. They should possess expertise in user-centered design, interaction design, usability, and scalable design systems.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional product teams, working with product managers, tech leads, and technology teams to solve complex design challenges. They will also have the opportunity to lead research, testing concepts, and ensuring our designs meet real user needs.

This role requires a balance of leadership, execution, mentorship, and strategic thinking. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy shaping design culture, this could be your opportunity to make a significant impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a small design team and guide them in creating high-quality design artifacts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive design decisions and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Mentor designers to maintain high standards of quality and innovation.
  • Contribute to the development of the product vision and roadmap.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in design.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in design and leadership.
  • Deep understanding of design principles and systems.
  • Expertise in creating high-quality design artifacts.
  • Mastery of design tools, including Figma and Miro.
  • Data-driven decision making skills.
  • Experience with complex applications and business-oriented web and mobile applications.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
