Our mission is to provide businesses with the tools they need to scale effectively and efficiently in an increasingly complex subscription landscape.   Maxio is looking for a Design Engineer to join our Product Design team and help bridge the gap between design and development, ensuring our products are functional, cohesive, and user-centered. Whether you're a front-end engineer with a strong design sensibility or a technically adept product designer, you thrive in the "front of the front-end" space. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with designers, engineers, and cross-functional teams to develop, maintain, and evolve Maxio's design system. Your work will empower product teams to build with consistency, efficiency, and craft—enabling delightful, high-quality experiences across our platform. Maxio Benefits & Perks: Unlimited PTO  Free English classes with a native speaker if needed  Company lunches once per week  Training budget (3 000 PLN per year)  Private healthcare (Luxmed)  Access to Mybenefit platform  Small teams  Flexible working hours  Experience: 5+ years of experience in product design or front-end engineering, preferably within a SaaS environment.  Proven experience building and maintaining design systems.  Expertise in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, and React) and tools such as Figma and Storybook.  Technical Skills: Strong skills in visual design, interaction design, and prototyping demonstrated through a portfolio of work, spanning desktop and mobile surfaces.  Familiarity with design tokens, API-based design systems, or other advanced system architectures.  Preferred Qualifications: Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG).  Passion for mentoring and educating teams on leveraging design systems to improve workflow efficiency and consistency.  Experience with automation tools and emerging technologies that improve design and engineering processes.  Maxio is a leading SaaS company revolutionizing the way subscription businesses handle their financial operations.
