We are building a new IT Hub in Katowice from scratch. Our client is a global producer of sustainable stainless steel, aiming to reduce their carbon footprint by 10,000,000 tonnes annually. We are seeking an experienced Service Manager - Data & Integration to join our Digital Platform Team, focusing on data engineering and Azure/SAP Integrations.

This role includes an employment contract and a hybrid work model with 2 office days per week.

Key responsibilities:

  • Oversee the delivery, performance, and continuous improvement of Data & Integration services based on technologies such as Azure Data Services, Tibco integration, On-prem SQL database, ShadowBase Replication, Qlik Replicate, Oracle database, Tieto BIX, and ESB.
  • Lead incident resolution, escalations, and root cause analysis.
  • Implement and manage monitoring and alerting solutions to ensure proper service performance and reliability.
  • Monitor and optimize costs related to technological resources, such as Azure, cloud data, and analytics services.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing data & integration services.
  • Excellent knowledge of ITIL or other service management frameworks.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage complex technical issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Technical understanding of data & integration solutions, including Azure Data Services, Tibco integration, On-prem SQL database, ShadowBase Replication, Qlik Replicate, Oracle database, Tieto BIX, and ESB.
  • Communicative English - minimum B2 level.
  • Good experience with project management methodologies, change management processes, and tools.
  • Good understanding of Agile development and operations practices.
