Senior Real Estate and Procurement Manager

At Simon-Kucher, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Real Estate and Procurement Manager to join our team. As a key player in developing and executing strategic sourcing initiatives, you will be responsible for supporting the organization's real estate needs across our global footprint.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for real estate services, including leasing, property management, and related services.
  • Lead real estate projects from business request through office selection, contract negotiation to office move-in in collaboration with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and optimization of real estate-related procurement activities.
  • Deliver timely project read-outs, ensuring stakeholders are well-informed and engaged, and prepare necessary leadership decisions as needed.
  • Evaluate, select, and manage relationships with real estate service providers, negotiating contracts and terms to secure favorable agreements.
  • Collaborate with our local office leads, legal, and finance teams to review lease agreements and ensure compliance with company policies and standards.
  • Work closely with finance teams to develop and manage budgets related to real estate expenditures.
  • Stay abreast of relevant laws and regulations affecting real estate procurement to navigate real estate sourcing activities.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with real estate transactions and contracts.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 7 years of proven experience in strategic sourcing, with a focus on real estate services, facilities, and transactions.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Excellent project management, negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills.
  • Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with a hands-on mentality.
  • Great knowledge of real estate market trends, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and steer change within the organization.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, real estate, strategic sourcing, and procurement supply chain or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
