Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Transport & Distribution Specialist to join our team at Carlsberg Shared Services.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily transport operations, optimizing processes, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in the WE Region.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Receiving, checking, and processing transport orders coming from customers/requestors (including standard and non-standard orders)
  • Maintaining communication daily with customers by responding to routine inquiries concerning service ordered and taking action to respond to customer's needs
  • Slot management - booking the loading/delivery slot for carriers as per transit time
  • Tracking the status of orders in the Transport Management System and communicating issues and solutions - continuous tracking of orders and keeping customers informed
  • Verification of occurred charges based on proof/root cause documentation
  • Preparing and monitoring performance appraisal indicators (KPI), describing service level for customers being in charge of, providing appropriate data required for a final KPIs generation (reason codes introduction) and KPI's regularly review
  • Creating and maintaining relationships on the operational level within TCT and between TCT and customers (breweries, suppliers)
  • Active participation in the financial process by verifying and monitoring the status of invoices.
Requirements

We're looking for someone who:

  • has worked in the customer service area with a preference for candidates with experience in the logistics or transportation area
  • has a University degree (min. Bachelor's degree), educational background in logistics would be beneficial
  • has worked in, and enjoys working in a diverse, and international environment
  • has proficiency in written and spoken English
  • has good communication and interpersonal skills
  • navigates easily in Office365 environment and has practical knowledge of MS Excel
  • has experience in logistics process standardization and Transport Management Systems (would be beneficial)
