Investment Compliance Specialist Senior Associate

We are seeking an experienced Investment Compliance Specialist, Senior Associate to join our team at State Street. As a key member of our Institutional Services function, you will play a critical role in delivering a comprehensive and holistic approach to client relationships.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor compliance results on client portfolios related to Regulatory and Investment Manager (IM) mandates.
- Utilize State Street's Investment Compliance & Reporting platform to complete research, analysis, and reporting to ensure portfolios are in compliance with their investment restrictions.
- Provide technical support to Supervisor and Compliance teams to ensure all deliverables are produced and dispatched on time in accordance with SLA and agreed quality standards.
- Review current operational processes, recommend improvements, and implement them.
- Liaise with other internal clients and supporting departments to obtain key inputs to service delivery, resolve errors, and discrepancies.
- Assist Team Supervisor in organizing the Team and ensuring that departmental procedures and controls are adhered to.
- At least +2 years of relevant working experience preferably in fund accounting/Alternative Investments/Investment Compliance.
- Bachelor's degree, preferable in finance, accounting, or economic.
- Very good understanding of financial instruments, funds, and markets.
- Knowledge of UCITS, AIFMD regulations would be an advantage.
- Experience in creating Excel Reports.
- Accuracy and ability to work to tight deadlines.
- PC literate and competent in use of spreadsheets and word processing.
- Very good understanding of investment compliance processes.
- Independence in solving complicated cases in the field of compliance investment processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Experience utilizing Bloomberg will be an asset.
- Experience in working with legal documentation in English.
- Ability to establish and maintain professional contacts and relationships within the company.
- Access, VBA knowledge is considered as an asset.
- Excellent analytical and mathematic skills.
