Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Governance Expert to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing data standards, procedures, and coding structures to ensure high-quality data access.

Your primary focus will be on:

  • Developing strategic plans to access relevant data sources and gain insights through collaboration and/or data generation.
  • Ensuring data quality by conducting regular cleaning efforts and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Becoming familiar with analytical methodologies and tools to deliver impactful approaches.
  • Translating business requirements into feasible data warehouse designs and sharing insights with the team.
  • Applying rigor in analytical design and methods, presenting results effectively, and interpreting stakeholder needs.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • 4+ years of experience in data management, data governance, or data analyst roles.
  • Intermediate to advanced SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Science, Data Management, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Experience in developing requirements and formulating business metrics.
  • Skills in data administration, design, and architecture.
