Plant Financial Manager

Michael Page is seeking a highly skilled Plant Financial Manager to join our client, a global leader in the technical industry. The production plant is located near Wrocław.

Your Responsibilities
  • Oversee all financial aspects of plant operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Monitor and control manufacturing costs, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions to improve profitability.
  • Lead the development of annual budgets and rolling forecasts. Provide financial insight to help plant management make informed decisions.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analyses for plant management and corporate headquarters.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate financial policies, procedures, and internal controls. Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and transparency.
  • Develop, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) that measure the plant's financial and operational performance.
  • Act as a strategic partner to the plant management team, providing financial insights and recommendations for improving operational efficiency.
  • Manage and control inventory accounting, ensuring accurate tracking of materials and finished goods.
  • Identify and lead initiatives to improve financial processes and reduce waste in production and financial systems.
Employer Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of financial experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a plant controller role or similar position.
  • Strong understanding of cost accounting, financial analysis, and reporting.
  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial data to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team and influence key decision-makers.
  • Strong oral and written English and Polish communication skills.
