Electrical Project Coordinator

About the Job:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Site Supervisor to join our client's team and play a crucial role in the successful delivery of a CAT A & B commercial project.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Oversight of day-to-day site operations, ensuring adherence to project schedules and quality standards.
  2. Coordination with other trades and subcontractors to maintain a smooth workflow and avoid conflicts.
  3. Implementation and enforcement of strict health, safety, and environmental (HSE) procedures.
  4. Management of electrical system installations, including lighting, power distribution, and control systems.
  5. Ensuring all installations meet highest quality standards and project specifications.
  6. Monitoring and controlling material usage and labour costs to optimise project profitability.
  7. Conducting regular quality inspections to identify and rectify defects or non-conformities.
  8. Leading and motivating a team of skilled electrical installers and technicians.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Site Supervisor on large-scale commercial projects.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and control systems.
  • Excellent knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Valid CSCS card.
