We are seeking a seasoned Machine Learning Operations Engineer - Cloud Specialist to join our team at Antal Sp. z o.o.


About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled professional to play a key role in shaping our organization's cloud-based machine learning operations strategy and implementation.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Maintain Best Practices: Establish and maintain best practices for ML Ops, including version control, CI/CD pipelines, and the Vertex AI Model Registry and End Points.
  • MLOps Tool Implementation: Implement MLOps tools to streamline model development, training, tuning, deployment, monitoring, and explainability.
  • Model Deployment and Management: Deploy and manage ML models on GCP's Vertex AI platform, ensuring efficient and scalable execution.
  • Performance Optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks in ML models and pipelines.
  • Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve ML issues, ensuring optimal model performance and costs.
  • Data Preparation and Feature Engineering: Work closely with data scientists to prepare and preprocess data for model training and evaluation, as well as assist in feature engineering and selection to ensure model performance.
  • Model Transparency and Accountability: Develop techniques to visualize and explain model behavior, ensuring model transparency and accountability in-line with PRA S51/23 guidelines.
  • Pipeline Development and Maintenance: Build and maintain robust pipelines for model training, tuning, and deployment, leveraging components of Vertex AI and GCP tooling like Cloud Composer, utilizing Python and Java, and Big Query.
  • Automated Monitoring and Alerting: Implement automated monitoring and alerting to track model performance and identify potential issues.
  • Data Quality Checks and Validation: Develop and maintain data quality checks and validation, including reconciliations in-line with Data Quality and Retention Controls.
  • Security Measures: Implement robust security measures to protect sensitive data and models.


Required Skills and Experience:
  • Strong Proficiency in ML Ops Principles and Tools: Strong proficiency in ML Ops principles and tools.
  • Data Engineering and Pipeline Development: Proficiency in data engineering and pipeline development.
  • GCP Experience: Experience with GCP, including Big Query, Cloud Composer, and Vertex AI.
  • Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Python Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Python.
  • Java Experience (Optional): Experience with Java would be beneficial.

The estimated annual salary for this position is between €90,000 and €120,000, depending on experience.
