Job Title: Global Regulatory Compliance Director

The Global Regulatory Compliance Director is a key leadership role responsible for developing and executing strategic plans for regulatory compliance across EMEA and NA regions. This position leads large-scale cross-regional initiatives to deliver exceptional results, ensuring a best-in-class internal and external customer experience.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee the Global Regulatory Compliance Team, ensuring effective operation of regulatory processes, systems, and tools to deliver high-quality regulatory compliance services to the NA and EMEA business.
  • Lead the management of domestic and international food regulatory issues, conducting risk assessments and generating analysis reports to inform preventive and corrective measures.
  • Oversee the effective operation of the Regulatory Compliance team to achieve agreed-upon Key Performance Indicators, including service levels delivery, volume, data quality, and overall service satisfaction. Communicate priorities and address team challenges, ensuring shift coverage and proactively escalating aging issues for resolution.
  • Manage talent within the Regulatory Compliance function, providing coaching, counseling, training, and team development to foster a culture of continuous improvement and high-performance excellence.
  • Partner with Regional Regulatory Business Partners, Global Process Owners, and Regulatory COE teams to deliver ongoing efficiency improvements through operational developments, process re-engineering, and technology enhancements.
Candidate Profile:
  • Master's degree in a relevant field, preferably in Regulatory, Food Science, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in senior technical roles in the food industry and 5+ years of leadership experience.
  • Fluent English language skills, with knowledge of other languages a plus.
  • Exposure to Regulatory Affairs and compliance in the food and flavors industries, including knowledge of food standards, microbiology, and food safety.
  • Proven business and project management skills, with a successful track record of achieving goals and results.
  • Ability to partner with various stakeholders to define common objectives and strategies to achieve business results.
  • Excellent customer service skills, relationship building, and leadership capabilities, with strong presentation and communication skills.
