Business Development Specialist

Your daily tasks in this role will involve strategically prospecting new clients on the market seeking e-commerce technology or provider changes, tracking market trends, building a network, and identifying business opportunities through active partnerships. You will lead the entire sales process, from identifying and qualifying opportunities to closing deals, while acquiring an in-depth understanding of customers' businesses, workflows, and challenges. To drive the sales process, you will collaborate with colleagues from different functions, contributing to the creation of strategic plans and tactical sales plans.


To succeed in this role, you should have at least 3 years of experience in a similar position, with hands-on experience in prospecting, social media presence, and cold outreach via mail, phone, and social media. You should be able to manage complex sales cycles from start to finish with a strong track record of success, and have a consultative approach to sales. Experience in selling environments for mid-organizations is essential, with complex pursuit processes, proposal development, and presentations that win new business. You should also have an understanding of sales methodologies and qualification tools, as well as the ability to maintain accurate and timely customer, pipeline, and forecast data. Excellent verbal and written presentational and communication skills in English are required, with German being a plus.
