Job Title: Environment Artist
Your Mission
In our fast-paced environment, priorities can change rapidly. As an Environment Artist at Infinity Ward, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Crafting believable, photo-realistic environment art that meets the needs of both high-level Art and Design directions.
- Collaborating closely with departmental counterparts to ensure your work integrates seamlessly with other teams.
- Revising your work based on direction rather than quality.
- Leading pre-production planning and prioritization to ensure the best possible results.
- Exhibiting high levels of creativity and independence, with minimal instruction required.
- Helping to troubleshoot and resolve content issues when identified.
- Evaluating and helping to solve performance concerns.
Player Profile
Minimum Requirements:
- Experience with world building using industry-leading level editors such as UE4 or Unity.
- Strong foundational art skills, including composition, form, color, and light in relation to crafting environments.
- Strong narrative and environmental storytelling skills, with a focus on set dressing and world building.
- Strong understanding of modular workflows as it relates to architectural assembly and asset creation.
- Advanced skills in software such as Max, Maya, Blender, Photoshop, or similar tools.
- Self-motivation, independence, and a strong work ethic.
- Photogrammetry experience is a plus.
- First Person Shooter experience is also a plus.
