Lead Environment Artist Position
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Lead Environment Artist to join our team at FunCrafters. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead and manage a team of 3D Environment and 3D Prop Artists working on one of the biggest IPs in the world. You will be responsible for providing guidance, feedback, and mentorship to ensure the delivery of high-quality work.
About the Position
- Artistic Vision: You will have a great artistic vision and be able to lead the team in creating high-quality 3D environments.
- Technical Skills: You will have extensive experience in Zbrush, Maya, Substance Painter, Marvelous Designer, and Rizom (or similar).
- Team Management: You will lead and manage a team of 3D Environment and 3D Prop Artists, providing guidance, feedback, and mentorship.
- Communication: You will have good communication skills and be able to work closely with the art director, game designers, and other team members.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Team: You will lead and manage the team of 3D Environment and 3D Prop Artists.
- Develop Technical Requirements: You will develop technical requirements and solutions for 3D environment production optimization.
- Collaborate with the Art Director: You will collaborate closely with the art director to establish a cohesive artistic vision for the game's environments.
- Collaborate with the Technical Art Team: You will collaborate with the technical art team to ensure proper integration of 3D assets into the Unity engine.
- Conduct Regular Reviews: You will conduct regular reviews and provide constructive feedback to in-house and remote artists to improve the overall quality of environment art.
