Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Lead Technology Consultant to join our Global Mobility Solutions team at KPMG. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing web-based and mobile technology solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with clients in Tax, HR, and Global Mobility to understand their tax technical requirements and advise on incentive compensation plans globally.
  • Contribute to product design and process workflow within tools, bringing a tax technical perspective to tool development.
  • Manage client processes where KPMG is assisting as technical experts.
  • Gather and produce tax/technical requirements to a high degree of specification.
  • Assist in providing demonstrations and marketing of tools to existing and prospective clients.
  • Financial management, including budgeting, raising client invoices, and chasing payments.
  • Manage scope and identify out-of-scope requests.
  • Assist with client queries related to our tools.
  • Involvement in business development and proposals.
  • Assist in analysis, testing, and review of tax updates in our tools.
Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience in Reward, Employment Taxes, or Global Mobility with a keen interest in technology.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, people, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manipulate large volumes of data.
  • Dynamic and flexible individual that adapts well to change.
  • Comfortable working as part of a global team.
  • Show perseverance when faced with challenging situations but remain focused and motivated when dealing with routine tasks.
  • Confidence to question and challenge client needs.
  • Pro-active in following up and managing expectations effectively, prioritizing tasks where needed.
  • Appreciation of the commercial environment we operate in.
Desirable Skills
  • Experience in systems, business analysis, or project management.
  • Any experience working on tax systems.
  • Any experience in tax consulting, working towards professional tax/accounting qualifications, or a keen interest in this area.
  • Knowledge of MS Access, MS Excel (advanced), MS Project, MS Visio, or Jira would be an advantage.
