In this role, you will lead the development of the closing and consolidation process, driving a seamless end-to-end process design and implementation in closing and consolidation processes within the Record to Report. Your focus will be on implementing best practices and ensuring that closing and consolidation processes are streamlined, efficient, and meet business requirements.

As a member of our team, you will work closely with different Fortum finance teams across the company, contributing to the Record-to-Report area roadmap, annual plans, and KPIs. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Streamlining financial reporting processes
  • Ensuring data quality, operational transparency, and continuous improvement in our processes
  • Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders such as IT and Finance teams

To be successful in this role, you have:

  • Suitable degree or equivalent competencies in accounting or technology, and preferably 5 years of working experience in a relevant field (e.g., consulting, accounting, or process development)

  • Capabilities to work independently and in a matrix organization
