About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineering Team Leader to join our team at Grand Parade. As a key member of our engineering leadership team, you will be responsible for leading a team of software engineers and driving the development of our online sports betting and gaming platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of software engineers and provide technical guidance and mentorship to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
  • Develop and implement technical strategies to drive innovation and improve the efficiency of our software development processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and QA, to ensure seamless delivery of software solutions.
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks, and develop contingency plans to ensure project success.
  • Contribute to the development of our technical roadmap and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in software development, with a strong background in Java, Spring, Kafka, and Microservices architecture.
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing software engineering teams and driving technical excellence.
  • Strong technical leadership skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate technical risks.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
