Technical Leadership Role in Core Banking Architecture

Job Description

As a member of a highly skilled team of architects and experts, you will participate in defining, managing and driving the platform architecture for a Nordic wide Core Banking Platform at b2bnetwork.

Main Responsibilities

  • Proactively collaborate with stakeholders on value-driven strategy, driving the vision for the creation of and the delivery of the platform and infrastructure for the Core Banking Platform and its related system stacks.
  • Contribute to defining and maintaining the technical architecture and help prepare the backlog for the next PI for the Technology and Infrastructure team within the Core Banking Program.
  • Develop, guide and govern infrastructure platform standards, principles and best practices to better achieve organizational value objectives.
  • Key Skills
    • Build effective relationships with peers across the organisation to facilitate the improvement of the IT technology architecture and platforms.
    • Facilitate a shared understanding and commitment among stakeholders to provide solutions to issues in order to achieve the target architecture within own area.
    • Contribute to documenting the required Information Systems and Platform Enabler Capabilities and problem spaces.
    • Contribute to core compliance documents (SDD, TRRD).
    • Identify possibilities for evolving the architecture to deliver reduced complexity, cost efficiencies, improved agility, reduced risk or improved business capabilities.
    • Lead and participate in IT systems and IT infrastructure designs, following b2bnetwork architecture governance.
    • Contribute to developing and maintaining architecture roadmaps for Core Banking Technology and Infrastructure.
    • Work with Product Management and Release Train Engineers to initiate and drive delivery of technology solutions.
    • Proactively guide, implement and govern architectural principles, best practices and common change initiatives in own area to secure high quality in IT solutions.
    • Participate in frequent reviews on IT solutions against value-driven IT strategy.
    • Define, track and manage Non-Functional requirements throughout the delivery cycle.
    • Coach and assist developers, platform teams, ops teams and Infrastructure teams on best practices and key knowledge areas like Non Functional Requirements, Monitoring and Root Cause identification, Technology best practices.
