Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer to join our team at Riverland Reply. As a Cloud Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and implementing cloud-native microservice architectures based on Kubernetes.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement Java-based, cloud-native microservice architectures using Kubernetes.
  • Develop state-of-the-art solutions for our industry clients using your expertise in cloud environments.
  • Collaborate with a team to drive development and set up and maintain cloud infrastructure (DevOps).
  • Utilize modern open-source frameworks, tools, and paradigms like AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, ArgoCD, GitHub, Terraform, and Quarkus.

Qualifications
  • University studies (Bachelor or Master Degree) in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or comparable courses of study.
  • Good know-how and 2+ years of experience in Cloud Technologies (AWS, Kubernetes, etc.).
  • Platform and Hosting: AWS – EKS, RDS, MSK, Redis, EC2, Secret Manager.
  • Certifications: AWS Practitioner at least.
  • Methodology: Agile setup.
  • Project management tools: Jira, Confluence.
  • Customer-centricity as an important success factor.
  • High analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Very good communication skills – English is a must, German is a plus.
  • Open to a hybrid way of working with weekly visits in our Katowice office.
