Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller for Sustainability to join our team at State Street. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the design and implementation of our sustainability reporting framework, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and leading the delivery of our Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) disclosure reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement a controls-oriented environment to ensure the accuracy of sustainability reporting data.
  • Partner with multiple groups to ensure the successful delivery of our sustainability reporting requirements.
  • Pro-actively drive the sustainability reporting and disclosure implementation for CSRD legislation applying to our European bank.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality documentation in line with corporate requirements.
  • Present sustainability updates at team meetings, working groups, and steering committees as required.
  • Collaborate with multiple contributors to provide leadership and guidance on reporting standards and requirements.
  • Work in partnership with the corporate sustainability team to ensure the successful delivery of our sustainability reporting requirements.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Financial Control, Bank reporting, or Audit.
  • Project Management Leadership experience.
  • Knowledge of sustainability regulations preferred.
  • Degree in Accounting, Business, or Legal.
