Your Responsibilities
  • Monitor customer accounts and detect overdue payments. Collect and analyze data for a selected payment/debt history. Reach out to customers to discuss their debts.
  • Owning the Customer Ledger and is responsible for keeping it clear and meeting collection targets.
  • Act as a Business Partner to OpCos (e.g. Cash/Pre Legal Collectors, Sales, Customer Service) in order to provide timely and accurate data and ensure effective collections.
  • Work collaboratively with other HGSS teams (Front and Back Office teams) to ensure effective delivery of collection processes and that standards are being followed.
  • Manage customer relationship accounts and ensure a high level of service is provided at all times.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing calls with customers, identifying held orders and taking appropriate actions to resolve them, managing the credit limit exceeded process in accordance with credit policy.
  • Support and contribute to the delivery and implementation of continuous improvement projects in collaboration with OpCo, HGSS, and in line with HEINEKEN's standards.
  • Regularly update the Team Leader about developments and progress of collections opportunities and issues.
  • Drive own personal development in Finance specific skills and business knowledge of implementing his/her development plan.
  • Ensure process controls, policies, and compliance are adhered to and suggest any improvements as appropriate.
  • Maintain complete and up-to-date process documentation.
You Are a Good Candidate If You
  • Have a German language proficiency of C1 level.
  • Have an English language proficiency of B2 level.
  • Have at least 1 year of experience in OTC Collection area.
  • Have an accounting background and expertise.
  • Have strong customer focus.
  • Have collection experience.
  • Have HORECA customers experience.
  • Can deal with resistance.
  • Understand end-to-end Order to Cash process - Business knowledge.
  • Have written and verbal communication skills.
  • Have experience in multi-national environment (incl. Shared Services Centers).
  • Have negotiation skills.
