Job Description:

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Business Expense Auditor to join our team in Warsaw, Poland. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will be responsible for conducting thorough audits of employee travel and entertainment expense reports to ensure accuracy, compliance, and proper documentation.

Your primary objective will be to identify any discrepancies, policy violations, or potential fraud for further investigation. You will also collaborate with employees and department heads to resolve audit findings and provide feedback on any necessary corrections or additional documentation.

In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining the integrity and transparency of our T&E reimbursement processes across our global operations. Your attention to detail and analytical skills will be essential in ensuring that all expenses are properly documented and compliant with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct thorough audits of employee travel and entertainment expense reports.
  2. Review receipts, invoices, and supporting documents to verify expenses.
  3. Identify and flag any discrepancies, policy violations, or potential fraud.
  4. Collaborate with employees and department heads to resolve audit findings.
  5. Prepare regular reports summarizing audit findings and trends in employee expense behavior.
  6. Support the implementation and updating of company T&E policies.
  7. Stay informed of relevant financial and legal changes related to travel and entertainment expenses globally.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in audit, finance, or expense management.
  • Knowledge of expense management systems.
  • Familiarity with corporate T&E policies and tax regulations.
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Fluency in English is required.
