Ensure Data Integrity and ComplianceWe are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Data Governance Specialist to manage the data governance content of our InfoSphere Business Glossary Repository.
The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with department managers, gathering information about business terms, and governing the data by adding technical descriptors and business context.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Department Managers to gather information about business terms.
- Governing the data - updating business terms by adding technical descriptors and business context.
- Participating in attestation process and preparing reports.
- Metadata management - importing metadata from SQL/Oracle/DB2 databases.
- Data lineages creation.
- Data Quality rules development.

Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business or Information Systems or equivalent direct business experience.
- Experience: 2 to 4 years of experience working with SQL and database management systems.
- Technical Skills: Understanding of relational database management systems, flat files, and related data structures. Familiarity with Excel (V Lookup), SQL Server and MySQL databases. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint).
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills. Self-driven, work in teams and independently if required.
Nice To Have:
- Knowledge of InfoSphere or other data governance tool.
- Willingness to learn new tools and technologies as required.
