HedgeServ is a leading global fund administrator with a strong presence in the industry. We provide a wide range of services to our clients, including fund accounting, reporting, and regulatory compliance.

As a Fund Accounting Vice President at HedgeServ, you will be responsible for leading a team of fund accountants and ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of NAV calculations. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing system, procedural, and operational enhancements to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our fund accounting services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of fund accountants and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Develop and implement system, procedural, and operational enhancements to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our fund accounting services.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of NAV calculations.
  • Provide leadership and strategic direction for assigned fund accounting teams.
  • Manage multiple client relationships and ensure that their needs are met.
  • Develop and maintain relationships between HedgeServ and client brokers, auditors, and legal counsel.
  • Responsible for new client transitions to the HedgeServ platform.

Requirements:

  • Completed bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or finance.
  • Minimum of 12 years' experience working in a Hedge Fund Administration Firm at a senior level with at least 3 of those at AVP level.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to be flexible and work effectively both within a team structure or independently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Good initiative coupled with the ability to identify when escalation is required.
  • Reliable, flexible, and dependable.
  • Ability to positively influence team morale.
  • Demonstrate leadership skills.
  • Take ownership of designated tasks.
  • Act as a role model for HedgeServ.
