Job Description:

The ServiceNow Technical Specialist is a critical role within SCHENKER TECHNOLOGY CENTER WARSAW, responsible for designing, testing, implementing and maintaining IT and business solutions using the ServiceNow platform. This position requires a deep understanding of the platform and its capabilities, as well as excellent technical skills to evaluate demands and create technical concepts that meet both business and IT requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Design and Implementation: Develops technical specifications and makes recommendations towards implementation of standard functionality or configuration of individual solutions
  • Solution Development: Analyzes requirements, develops specifications and designs innovative solutions to business problems or recommendations to improve system capabilities automate process workflows and address scheduling limitations throughout the development and delivery of the ServiceNow roadmap
  • Support and Maintenance: Builds service requests from customer requirements including requests, request items and tasks using workflows to manage data flows from the customer to the support teams providing the service
  • Technical Validation: Performs technical validation and testing to ensure requirements are satisfied
  • Solution Alignment: Evaluates and aligns solution concepts created by implementation partners or other functional areas
  • System Architecture: Supports in developing system architecture/interfaces
  • Data Integration: Loads, adapts and maintains data between ServiceNow and other systems
  • Process Improvement: Recommends improvements and/or changes to technical design where appropriate
  • Coding and Deployment: Performs coding and moving changes across platforms (dev/test/prod)
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum 3+ years of ServiceNow development and implementation experience
  • Programming Skills: Minimum 3+ years of programming experience
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Computer Science or another related field
  • Certifications: ServiceNow System Administrator, ServiceNow Implementation, (ITIL v3 certification)
  • Skills: ITSM knowledge, excellent understanding of all the ITSM and related service
  • Integration Knowledge: Fundamental understanding of the key technologies relevant to ServiceNow integration solutions i.e. SSO, SAML, SSL, Web Services, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC, REST, SCP, FTPS
  • Project Management: Experience in IT Project Management
  • Languages: Fluent in English language skills (verbal & written)
