About the Role

We are seeking a Junior Collection Specialist with German language skills to join our team in Katowice. As a Collection Specialist, you will be responsible for accurately and timely reviewing open accounts for collection efforts, reviewing and monitoring assigned accounts, and preparing various collection reports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately and timely review open accounts for collection efforts
  • Review and monitor assigned accounts and all applicable dunning and collection reports
  • Prepare various collection reports; perform reconciliations and collect supporting dunning documentation
  • Make outbound collection calls and mail communication in a professional manner while keeping and improving customer relations
  • Maintain and provide all necessary documentation useful for collection activities and customer relationships
  • Support Accounts Receivable and Treasury department in matching payments and investigating any account differences
  • Provide timely follow-up on payment arrangements
  • Communicate with internal and external customers in an effective and efficient manner
  • Report periodically or upon request KPI's measurements
  • Participate in continuous improvement processes

Requirements

  • Excellent command of German (at least B2/C1) - daily contact with German-speaking customers
  • Good knowledge of English - our corporate language
  • Nice to have: experience in German-speaking customer service
  • Knowledge of accounting basic principles will be an asset
  • Very good MS Office knowledge
  • SAP knowledge will be an asset
  • Very good communication skills, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-changing international environment
