Sales Support Specialist with Italian Language Skills

Main Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and establish long-term, positive relationships with customers through phone and email interactions, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Remote sale of industrial automation products and services to distributors and end-users via online and telephone marketing, as well as customer service throughout the order process.
  • Liaise with the external sales manager to assist with day-to-day customer service tasks.
  • Process orders, including determining payment methods, invoicing, and contacting customers in case of non-payment.
  • Negotiate with clients, potential clients, and suppliers via telephone.
  • Search for suppliers via telephone and internet in response to business needs.
  • Familiarize yourself with local sales, import, and export laws.
  • Implement quantitative and qualitative sales targets for products and services, as well as assumed budgets and financial goals.
  • Regularly contact the Purchasing Department to receive offers, updates, and order statuses, as well as the Logistics Department, Repair Department, and Financial Department.
  • Work closely with the external sales team (Italy) to assist with their day-to-day tasks, such as interacting with customers, creating quotes, checking internal systems, and ensuring all orders are delivered as planned.
  • Work daily with internal systems to check customer repairs and ensure all deliveries are on time.
Requirements:
  • A high level of written and spoken Italian is required.
  • A good command of English is required, as all our systems are in English.
  • Internal sales experience is necessary.
  • Good knowledge of the MS Office package is required.
  • Ability to work under time pressure.
  • Ability to accurately and quickly respond to customer needs.
  • An active approach to tasks and people.
  • Very good communication and listening skills.
  • Enthusiasm and consistency in action.
  • Ability to work in a team and plan tasks.
  • Analytical mind and the ability to draw conclusions.
  • Creative problem-solving.
