Our Clinical Research Portfolio, part of PPD, optimizes the patient journey in clinical trials by securing sites and recruiting patients. Your determination to put patients at the heart of every decision will improve health outcomes that people and communities depend on – now and in the future.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our dedicated research site in Gdynia, Poland, as a Manager, Sites. Working Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week, you'll provide overall leadership, strategy, and accountability for the efficiency, quality, and operational performance of the site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage staff, including interviewing, selection, job description preparation, professional development, goal setting, performance management, coaching, mentoring, employee counseling, and separations.
  • Effectively manage multiple key studies to ensure delivery at site level and oversee resource allocation of studies to staff.
  • Collaborate with management to clarify study questions prior to study start.
  • Provide leadership and supervision of clinical staff within the research sites, ensuring all study-related tasks are properly planned and executed with adequately trained and skilled team members.
  • Participate in clinic process improvements, QA/QC initiatives, and issue resolutions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic/vocational qualification.
  • Previous experience that provides knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 0 to 5 years).
  • 1+ year of leadership responsibility.
  • Fundamental communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage, motivate, and mentor staff.
  • Strong organization skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, meet rigorous timelines, and work effectively in stressful situations.
  • Understanding of budgets, project planning, and performance metrics.
  • Strong English and grammar skills, second language a plus.
  • Sound knowledge of taxonomies, Records Management principles, and organizational archival processes and systems.
