Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated Dealer Director to join our team. As a key player in our organization, you will play a vital role in driving the development and execution of our Sales & Services strategy.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the market strategy with distributors, working closely with the Sales and Marketing Director to ensure alignment with our overall strategy.
  • Ensure a consistent approach to the development and implementation of common processes, tools, policies, and procedures with distributors.
  • Plan and monitor the execution of equipment sales activities, working closely with teams to achieve set targets, customer satisfaction, market share, volumes, and margins.
  • Grant trade discounts in accordance with established guidelines and work within budget.
  • Develop and further strengthen the dealer network by identifying, defining, and recommending distributors according to the markets and leading negotiations and the implementation of agreements with distributors.
  • Manage, animate, monitor, and develop relationships with distributors, ensuring activities meet sales expectations and cooperation requirements.
  • Coordinate and channel Hiab and supplier support to distributors, responsible for reporting on the activity and sales forecasts of the Dealer Network according to defined frequencies.
  • Comply with HSE measures in place, participate in risk assessments, investigations, and prevention actions, and carry out HSE inspections or visits according to the defined schedule.

Requirements

  • Suitable educational background, preferably in commercial, mechanical engineering, production engineering, or administrative subjects.
  • A solid track record of leading and managing sales workforce and driving sales growth, with at least 10 years of relevant business/product experience related to sales.
  • Experience in growing and maintaining a dealer network and proven ability to drive and develop equipment business sales and profitability.
  • Proven ability to develop and manage a team of sales representatives, results-driven, and eager to create long-term relationships, with high integrity and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English and the local language, with all communication with customers in the local language and communication with Division and corporate in English.
