Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Procurement and Third-Party Risk Expert to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective management of procurement and third-party risk processes across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Support for External Procurement:
    • Develop and implement strategies for managing external procurement, including process improvements and vendor onboarding.
    • Work closely with the group service provider to provide training and support to business stakeholders across various regions.
    • Oversee monitoring, reviewing, and risk mitigation in accordance with the Third-Party Risk Management framework.
  • Manage the maintenance of accurate records of CFO logs for payments and provide support to the finance team with accruals and reclasses.
  • Act as the local contact point for finance topics related to travel, travel costs, and travel policy.
  • Coordinate the invoice payment process, overseeing work by the Accounts Payable team and acting as an escalation point to ensure timely vendor payments.
  • Perform processes to pay and track direct debits and invoices.
  • Track external procurements (non-outsourcing).
  • Outsourcing Governance for Supply Chain Management and Finance:
    • Complete Requester Led Procurement where applicable for the Finance team.
    • Coordinate with the Supply Chain Management team for SCM-related initiatives.
    • Provide oversight and KPI monitoring for the services provided by the regional SCM Governance team, ensuring effective end-to-end management of third-party risk.
    • Work with the Finance Team and Outsourcing 1st Line Team to ensure all Service Level Agreements within Finance are subject to appropriate oversight, demonstrating control and monitoring in line with local regulatory requirements.
  • Support budget tracking and improving cost controlling relating to intra-group and external outsourcings across the business.
  • Be the point of contact for external vendors and perform tracking of new services available on the market that can be useful for the Bank.
  • Support the business to negotiate pricing and other service conditions with vendors where the engagement is below the minimum cap for SCM involvement.
