About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Expert - OTC Division to join our team at Michael Page. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for overseeing accounting operations and ensuring compliance with financial principles and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cooperate with other accounting departments to ensure seamless financial operations.
  • Analyze and summarize accounting information to inform business decisions.
  • Oversee daily accounting operations, adhering to established accounting principles and procedures.
  • Process customer receipts into the accounting system in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Perform cash collection and dunning procedures as needed.
  • Handle internal and external queries regarding financial matters.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient monthly closing processes.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive financial information.
  • Stay up-to-date on relevant financial policies, regulations, and legislation.
  • Work closely with SAP S/4 HANA to analyze and optimize financial data.
Requirements
  • University degree in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a shared service center environment.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting and corporate finance principles and procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and SAP.
  • Good command of English language, both spoken and written.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Well-organized and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Estimated salary: €60,000 - €80,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
