About the Role

This is a unique opportunity for a highly skilled professional to work on complex database projects, providing expert-level support and guidance to clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance inspections on customer instances of IBM Informix and DB2 software, ensuring optimal performance and addressing any issues that may arise.
  • Analyze log entries to identify potential errors, warnings, and non-standard behavior, and implement diagnostic testing, adjustments, and tuning to maintain the software in good condition.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of database objects, including checking limits achieved for extents, table size, and other critical metrics.
  • Optimize SQL queries to improve database performance and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with clients to plan and implement technical solutions that minimize problems and enhance their environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Deep knowledge of Informix and/or DB2/LUW, with at least 5 years of experience in implementing or maintaining IBM relational database software.
  • Ability to provide high-quality technical documentation in Polish.
  • Self-confidence and excellent teamwork skills.
  • Preferably one of the following certifications: IBM Certified System Administrator - Informix v. 12.10 or newer, IBM Certified Application Developer – Informix 11.50, or IBM Certified System Administrator – DB2 v. 10.5 or newer.
