Compensation Package
  • We offer an attractive compensation package including salary according to the collective agreement of IG-Metall with special payments (Christmas/holiday pay, ...) as well as a company performance-related annual bonus and an employer-financed company pension scheme.
About the Role

The successful candidate will oversee the group-wide harmonization, standardization and automation of accounting and reporting processes with a special focus on the general ledger, thus making a significant contribution to increasing efficiency.

  • This involves the design, introduction, management and control of end-to-end processes so that all processes function smoothly and efficiently.
  • You will verify local process requirements and ensure they are optimally adapted to group-wide standards.
  • You will also develop templates for standardized processes and play a central role in the implementation of SAP S4/HANA and the transfer of activities to the KION Center of Excellence in Krakow.
  • By training key users, you ensure that the relevant teams are well prepared for new processes and systems.
  • As the central contact person for all KION companies, you will be responsible for topics relating to the general ledger and accrual processes in the SAP S4/HANA Accrual Engine.
Your Profile

To succeed in this challenging role, you should have:

  • Many years of professional experience in the core processes of the general ledger, ideally with a focus on accrual processes.
  • A degree in economics and sound accounting knowledge according to IFRS are part of your profile.
  • You have several years of experience with SAP FI/CO, ideally also in other modules or SAP S4/HANA, and very good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of classic or agile project methods is desirable.
  • You are characterized by your initiative and strong communication skills, and you act confidently in German and English, even in an international environment.
  • Project-related international willingness to travel rounds off your profile.

Please note that the salary range for this position is approximately €90,000 - €120,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
