Our Shared Service Center/Global Business Services (SSC/GBS)
We have been developing our SSC/GBS structure over the past three years, which continues to grow and expand into new functions and processes. This has enabled us to streamline our operations, improve efficiency, and enhance our services.
Job Summary- Preparation and delivery of Value-Added Tax (VAT) reports, as well as reconciliation of VAT accounts and registers.
- Timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, Corporate Income Tax (CIT) reporting, and compliance for assigned entities.
- Support for consolidation and group reporting, ensuring alignment with group requirements and timely submission of financial data.
- Collaboration with auditors and external stakeholders during interim, annual audits, and statutory reporting processes.
- Oversight of balance sheet items, ensuring reconciliations and documentation are up-to-date and accurate.
- Coordination of monthly and annual closing processes for RTR-related accounts.
- Stay updated on financial regulations, policies, and group standards, ensuring compliance and best practices.
- Collaboration across finance and non-finance teams to improve efficiency and leverage synergies.
- Contribution to transitions, system migrations, and implementations for RTR processes.
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, or an equivalent field, preferably with ACCA or other chartered account certifications.
- Proven experience in a similar role within an SSC/GBS environment or in financial controlling/reporting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting and corporate finance principles and procedures.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English is essential.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and SAP experience are required.
- Ability to work independently and proactively address workforce needs, challenges, and expectations.
- Well-organized with a focus on meeting deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex finance concepts to non-finance professionals.
- Ability to plan and conduct informative and effective training programs.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with documented process improvement experiences.
- Previous experience working in shared service centers.
