About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Risk Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AML regulations and processes, with excellent analytical and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough reviews of client data and documentation to ensure compliance with AML regulations.
  • Conduct due diligence on new and existing clients to identify potential money laundering risks.
  • Analyze complex ownership structures to determine risk exposure and applicable AML requirements.
  • Screen client names and other parties against various sanctions lists.
  • Source required documentation from internal and external sources.
  • Validate CDD documentation provided by customers.
  • Complete customer AML risk assessments using corporate compliance tools and methods.
  • Meet agreed KRI/KPI targets for KYC profile reviews.
  • Ensure all assigned tasks are correctly maintained on designated tracking/reporting tool.
  • Provide updates to stakeholders upon request.

Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge of AML regulations and processes.
  • KYC process experience for different entity types would be an advantage.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
