Global Immigration Expert with Advanced Project Management Skills

At KPMG, we are seeking a highly skilled Global Immigration Manager to join our team.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced professional to manage our global immigration operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and policies. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, the ability to analyze complex immigration matters, and strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage relationships with local Member Firms and Third Party Suppliers for client engagements in the GPS model.
  • Monitor work volumes, client wins, and flag resourcing needs.
  • Support client transitions along with the Transition CoE team and closely monitor team activities during the hyper care period.
  • Manage team activities to ensure compliance with KPMG risk management policies and procedures.
  • Review and approve client-facing material before sending it to Lead Member Firm.
  • Monitor the Global Coordination & Billing Model and suggest process and technology improvements.
  • Support client billing process, review draft invoices prepared by KDN Operations team.
  • Review timesheets and monitor chargeable hours and utilization of the team.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate University degree preferred.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of immigration processes and common issues; keep informed of current immigration developments, trends, and best practices on a globally level.
  • Ability to analyze complex immigration matters and effectively communicate solutions to external clients in collaboration with our local offices and external vendors.
  • Understand basic and complex application processes.
  • Ability to tackle problems under tight deadlines.
  • Support complex immigration advisory work led by Member Firm offices.
  • Working experience within Immigration setting.
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Project Management: Ability to project manage multiple Global Immigration clients and work under pressure.
  • Strong professionalism and overall confidence.
  • Highly efficient with technology/tools.
  • Proficient communicator in written and spoken English (other languages advantageous but not required).
  • Ability to build relationships/trust both with internal teams and clients.
  • Experience and ability to work with confidential material.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools.
