Transforming the Future of Renewable Energy

Siemens Gamesa is a leading player in the renewable energy sector, and we are seeking a highly skilled Site Manager to join our team. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of works at our construction sites, ensuring that all operations are carried out in accordance with our standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strong leadership and direction to site teams, ensuring that all activities are carried out safely and efficiently.
  • Develop and implement plans to achieve project targets in terms of safety, schedule, cost, and quality.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, and implement countermeasures to prevent deviations from project targets.
  • Ensure that all site activities are coordinated and reported regularly, and that site setup, mobilization, and demobilization are carried out in accordance with requirements.
  • Implement and execute change and claim management, as well as cost out measures, to ensure that quality of work is maintained and no additional non-standard work is undertaken.
  • Manage risk and opportunity, and ensure that all site activities are carried out in accordance with our EHS and QA processes.

Requirements:

  • University degree in a relevant subject, or minimum 2 years of professional experience in the Offshore wind industry and at least 1 year in a similar role.
  • Proven leadership experience in large international construction projects, with in-depth technical knowledge of wind turbine products and related logistics.
  • Ability to handle conflicts and be a solution-oriented individual who can understand technical issues, work processes, and activities at site, and who is a team player able to maintain high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, advanced in the English language.
  • Willingness and ability to travel globally, working on a rotational basis both onshore and offshore.
