Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Managing User Support
- You will be responsible for managing and supporting users for two critical applications: a BI application and a Mutual fund sales support tool.
- Investigating and Troubleshooting Issues
- You will investigate, troubleshoot, reproduce, and resolve customer issues with urgency and determine a resolution of the problem.
- You will utilize various software tools, techniques, and processes to investigate and resolve problems.
- You will clearly and completely document processes and problem resolutions.
- You will contribute to and maintain the company knowledge base and code repositories with relevant information and software fixes.
Preferred Qualifications and Technical Skills
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
- Educational background in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in Oracle, T-SQL, and experience with Java or .NET.
- Experience in managing a BI environment.
- Familiarity with Linux and JavaScript is a plus.
- Experience with ticket management and documentation tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
