We are seeking a Chief Financial Strategist to join our team at Michael Page.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing the company's financial strategy, providing strategic financial guidance to the executive team and board of directors, and overseeing the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and forecasts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Strategy and Planning:
  • Develop and implement the company's financial strategy in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Provide strategic financial guidance to the executive team and board of directors.
  • Financial Reporting:
  • Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting:
  • Lead the annual budgeting process and regular forecasting activities.
  • Collaborate with department heads to establish and monitor budgetary goals.
  • Risk Management:
  • Identify and assess financial risks, and implement strategies to mitigate them.
  • Maintain a strong internal control environment to safeguard company assets.
  • Cash Flow Management:
  • Manage cash flow to ensure the availability of funds for operational needs.
  • Optimize working capital and liquidity management.
  • Financial Analysis:
  • Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide insights into key financial metrics and performance indicators.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Build and lead a high-performing finance team.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Relationship Management:
  • Cultivate relationships with external partners, including financial institutions, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support cross-functional initiatives.
Requirements

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced finance professional with a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience in a senior finance role, with excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels are essential.

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of €120,000 - €180,000 per annum, depending on experience. Other benefits include a hybrid work model, flexible working hours (7:00 - 10:00 start), private medical care, life insurance, multisport card, annual bonus, additional day off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
