With a strong background in accounting and financial management, the Deputy Chief Accountant will play a crucial role in supporting the Chief Accountant in overseeing the accounting department's daily operations. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, while also collaborating with the tax advisory department to maintain compliance with tax regulations and optimize tax strategies.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, as well as professional certification in accounting. A proven track record in accounting and financial management is essential, along with a strong understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are required, as well as proficiency in accounting software and financial management tools.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around 80,000 - 120,000 PLN per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Tax Compliance: Collaborate with the tax advisory department to ensure compliance with tax regulations and optimize tax strategies.
  • Accounting Operations: Support the Chief Accountant in managing the accounting department's daily operations, including close collaboration with other departments.
  • Process Improvements: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance financial management and operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • Professional certification in accounting (e.g. CPA, CMA)
  • Proven experience in accounting and financial management
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial management tools
