Senior Collection Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Collection Specialist to support our international client in managing accounts receivable and ensuring timely collections.

This role requires a professional with a passion for finance and outstanding communication abilities in foreign languages (Slovenian / Croatian / Hungarian / Slovak / Czech / Romanian).

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, accounting, or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the area of AR/collections.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing resolution support to collections specialists
  • Managing a segment of key accounts and supporting the maintenance and enhancement of key accounts
  • Developing training materials and procedures regarding key account collection processes
  • Establishing strong working relationships with other teams and internal/external customer contacts
  • Improving productivity and service, utilizing knowledge of multiple credit systems and divisional programs by suggesting changes
  • Providing collection input around specific key account customer segments and cooperating with the reporting teams to develop or enhance reports and analysis around key account AR portfolio
  • Coaching and training collections specialists

Requirements:

  • Completed studies in finance, accounting, business, or a related field
  • Very good knowledge of English and one of the following languages: French, German, Spanish, Dutch
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the area of AR/collections
  • Knowledge of SAP
  • Very good communication and cooperation skills
  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated
  • Proficient in analyzing financial data
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Strong customer orientation
