About the RoleThe main objectives for the Trade Desk Lead role are ensuring continuity of brokerage services, driving profitability across all products, providing 24/7 high-touch coverage, and optimizing portfolios.
This position reports to the Chief Operations Officer and is based in Poland with a hybrid/remote worksite.
Key Responsibilities:
- Streamline the trading team's workflow.
- Closely collaborate with cross-functional teams including Back Office, Front Office, Treasury, Corporate Finance, Compliance, Legal, Risk, and Sales.
- Oversee trade recording and settlement processes, identifying areas for improvement, and recommending updates to user guides.
- Establish regular processes for the trading team, manage ticket flow, and understand incident reporting.
- Create testing plans and manage ticketing flows.
- Closely work with the product/engineering team to enhance platform services and procedures.
- Ensure order execution adheres to international and local laws, internal manuals, and policies.
- Maintain daily monitoring and error management.
- Stay updated on market trends, opportunities, risks, and new projects, particularly in the cryptocurrency and digital asset industry.
- Build high-performance teams, oversee succession planning, and manage shareholder expectations.
- Develop automated reporting/dashboards and ensure compliance with all activities and transactions.
- English language proficiency.
- Degree in Math/Physics, Computer Science, or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of quantitative trading concepts.
- At least 7 years of experience in senior roles within investment banking and/or brokerage sectors.
- Excellent process analysis and improvement skills for trading activities.
- Strong analytical abilities and passion for analyzing sales dynamics/trends.
- Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights and develop plans.
- Experience in team management, hiring, developing, and maintaining talents.
- Proven track record of effective communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams.
